I am the K-5 instructional technology facilitator for the North Little Rock School District. Prior to this position, I was a K-5 literacy coach and a first grade classroom teacher. I teach professional development sessions on infusing technology into instruction through a flipped pd model as well as facilitate a mentoring program for iPad classrooms that are 1:1. I am a member of the Technology Infused Education (TIE) team, a technology group of more than 100 instructional technology trainers in Arkansas. I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a specialist degree in Reading. I am National Board Certified and have received the Making it Happen Award from the Hot Springs Technology Institute in 2006. I was named teacher of the year in my district in 2011 as well as named Arkansas Teacher of the Year Regional Finalist. I have a husband named James and three children, Tiffany, Trey, and Gracie.
